APLA Pre-Conference Sessions: Tuesday May 14

APLA Conference: Wednesday May 15 – Friday May 17

General Information:

Parking is free this time of year except in gated and metered areas.  Parking lots A and B off Belvedere Avenue are closest to Don and Marion MacDougall Hall, the Conference venue.  (#12 on map).

The Registration Desk is located in McDougall Hall Room 244.  Registration Desk hours are: 

  • Tuesday 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The APLA Conference Office is located in McDougall Hall Room 245.

All Conference Sessions are located in McDougall Hall.

If you are staying on campus, breakfast is available for purchase at the Atlantic Veterinary College (#27 on map).  The AVC Cafeteria opens at 8:00 a.m.   Samuel’s Café in the Robertson Library (#15 on map) provides coffee, muffins, bagels, gourmet cookies, fruit, juice etc. Samuel’s opens at 8:00 a.m.  Breakfast can also be purchased at Subway, Burger King and Superstore, all within 5 minute walking distance of the campus.

Exhibits: 

The exhibitor’s area will be located in a large, open space ("Market Square") and corridor ("Market Street") adjacent to food service and conference sessions.  Exhibit hours are:

  • May 14th 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • May 15th 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • May 16th 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
  • May 17th 9:30 -  5:30 p.m.

(Exhibitors can move out after the program for that day is complete)
