On-Campus Accommodations

Guest rooms are available in all three of the residence buildings at UPEI. Please see below for room descriptions and prices.

Andrew Hall: Our newest residence contains 81 rooms with 158 double beds. Rooms are in single, double, and triple suite configurations and all have private bedrooms. For example, a double suite has two private bedrooms with a double bed in each. All suites have a kitchenette/seating area, private bathroom, telephone, TV, microwave and high speed internet access. Nightly Rates:

• Single or Double Suite - $108.00 (+ applicable tax)
• Triple Suite - $145.00 (+ applicable tax)

Blanchard Hall: Our apartment style residence is comprised of sixty five two bedroom apartments. Each bedroom has two single beds allowing for a total for four guests to stay in each apartment. As well as two bedrooms, the apartment contains a private living room, kitchen, bathroom, TV and high speed internet. The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, toaster, kettle, pot and pan, and a four place setting.

• Nightly Rate: $108.00 (+ applicable tax)

Bernardine Hall: Bernardine Hall is a traditional dormitory style residence. It is made up of a combination of 84 single and double rooms. Each single room contains one twin bed and a double room contains two twin beds. Both types of rooms have semi-private bathrooms which means that the facilities are shared between two rooms. In addition to the beds, the rooms contain one closet and desk per bed. Due to fire regulations, only one person per bed may be allowed to stay in each room. Each floor contains a television lounge and a kitchenette with a stovetop, fridge, and microwave that all guests may use. Nightly Rates:

• Single - $47.00 (+ applicable tax)
• Double - $62.00 (+ applicable tax)

The Birches

Located just across the river in Stratford, The Birches have eight fully-equipped two-bedroom cottages overlooking the Northumberland Strait. APLA attendees will receive a welcoming gift of homemade biscuits and jam.

Dundee Arms Inn

The Dundee Arms in an authentic inn with 22 tasefully decorated rooms. A special conference rate of $110.00 single/$120.00 double occupancy (plus applicable taxes) is available. These rates include a deluxe continental breakfast with items such as waffles, pancakes, muffins, mini quiche, other assorted pastries, fresh fruit salad,eggs, cereal, toast, juice and coffee/tea.

Heritage Harbour House

Shipwright Inn

The Shipwright Inn is an elegant award-winning Victorian home built in 1865 by the accomplished shipbuilder James Douse. This Heritage Breakfast Inn is located in Olde Charlottetown within a three minute walk of historic, cultural, waterfront, dining and shopping facilities.

The Shipwright Inn can offer nine guestrooms / suites. All rooms have polished pine floors, some having been converted from ships planking by the homes builder and owner.
