Anatomy of a Library Merger

Can a small academic library successfully merge with a much larger library system in just three months? Yes, it can! In 2012, the Nova Scotia Agricultural College’s MacRae Library joined the Dalhousie Libraries family, with positive results for all. Teams worked on 11 major projects to ensure a smooth transition of services for the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus community for September 1. Panel participants will discuss key issues, obstacles, solutions and positive outcomes.
