Fertilizing a Homegrown Repository: Growing IslandScholar

In 2012 the Robertson Library relaunched IslandScholar, its Institutional Repository.  This presentation will describe how IslandScholar responds to the needs outlined in the institution’s Research and Open Access strategies, highlight the features of the new repository framework, describe the repository’s workflow and how we seeded our repository, how we address copyright issues, and the growth in content including theses.  We will describe how we are preparing our framework to allow LAC to harvest our e-theses.
