Therapy Dogs, Exam-time Cookies, and Banning Books: Community Engagement in Academic Libraries

Canadian academic libraries offer a myriad of services to their communities. The breadth, creativity, and impact of these initiatives is inspiring and worth knowing about.  The panelists will share the results of their review of dozens of academic library initiatives, describe some community-focused activities in which they have participated, and provide a template for library/community event planning. Attendees will share their own ideas and be encouraged to envision a project to implement at their own libraries.
